Tara: Not sure.. I just dont feel like the timing would have been right for it to be IB.. but then again, I really thought I had missed my window of oppertunity when I found out I was PG as well..so its hard to say. I havent had any irregular bleeding since the Mirena was removed. Maybe just had to do with the bladder infection. If I was, DH really has some super strong swimmers.. because that would be an awful long time to be floating around in there until I O'd.. lol.
Do you use the FF mobile app to keep your chart up while you are away?
Have fun on your mini vacation! Im jealous

Alix: Thanks love I know DH would be happy with another, but we've pretty much agreed on just layla, especially if he wants to put her through private school, she will have to be it.. we dont have the military, post office, and police department jobs paying for ours, like his dad did. He was a smart man!
The first appointments are exciting! At 8 weeks, theres more to see than there would be now, so its definitely worth the wait! I know with us, they asked us if we wanted to screen for adnormalities at that appointment.. I was so nervous about that, but glad we did, because when you go to MFM for those screenings, their u/s equipment is more defined and you get to see the baby more so i would opt for it.
afm- went to pick up my meds this morning and guess who forgot to inform her dr she is still breastfeeding? (I assumed it was on file from my physical!) so the meds werent compatible so the pharmacist called my doc and left a message to see what we need to use that will be ok. I really like that. However, i feel like Im going to keel over in the mean time.. they said to come back after 4, just in case they didnt call him back before then.

Hmm.. Alix. I still think the base doc is going by time of conception, and not the typical "4 weeks by time of + hpt" which would make sense like I said before. You will definitely get more answers when you have your ultrasound.
The abnormality screening is just blood tests and u/s screenings. If anything comes up from your bloodwork, they will then do more extensive testing..but usually its fine. DH's father was adopted so he didnt know his medical history really, and I have never met my father..all i have is a "possible" name (my mom can't "remember" if its correct. I swear she said that just so i wouldnt find him one day, but whatever) so Im missing half my medical history too..so we thought it was a wise idea to go through it for us. I had like 5 ultrasounds all together. vs the normal 2-3 So it was worth it for me.
You have one at 12-13 weeks,
one at 20,
and another at 23-24 weeks with MFM.
In fact, they were able to pretty much see Layla's gender at 13 weeks, thats how more defined their U/s are. Well they told me that "its looking like a girl!" and then the doctor came in and goes "OH YES, DEFINITELY Looking like a girl!" and insisted on calling her Mildred. Lol.
They confirmed it at 19 weeks when I had my next u/s with them.
It is scary when you go for the tests, because you are thinking "omg, what if something is wrong with my baby?" but also, i see it as two benefits, 1.. seeing the baby more.. and 2.. it would help you prepare for anything mentally and emotionally if something did come up.
I am excited for you! Pregnancy is very exciting.

Tara, I hope you enjoy your vacation!
Brie, your chart is looking great. I wouldn't discard temps, though.
Nicole and Christine, how are you doing? Haven't seen you on in a while, thinking of both of you and hoping you're doing well.
Haley, you, too! Hope you and little girl are doing okay.
AFM I don't know if I mentioned but we are moving on Wednesday, they are supposed to reconnect our phone on Thursday morning. (They were going to come Wednesday but I didn't know a time frame so I just told them to come Thursday. Also means less pressure on an already stressful day.) Not sure if I should be counting on anything (probably not) but I had heartburn Thurs-Fri (3-4 DPO) from mid-morning till evening and have been nauseous most of the day since Thursday. Could just be from the heat, though, even though I'm drinking a lot. Also got some good exercise yesterday and today. Sigh. I'm supposed to get AF the week school starts, somewhere from Aug. 25-28. 25 is 13DPO. So I would guess 25 or 27 (15DPO). I guess if AF doesn't come by August 29 then I will test. It's kind of annoying to have to walk around with a pad the first day of school. Arrrgggg. If I get pregnant this month my EDD will be the day I had my m/c (on the Jewish calendar), Israel Independence Day. I kind of hope so, I was really hoping to have a healthy baby by next Independence Day. On this calendar it would be May 5, which isn't the same (my m/c was April 16). I guess only time will tell... I also have a dr appointment on Tuesday, we will see what the doctor says about my FSH. I think he will ask me to retest next AF but we will see, I guess. He should have something to say even now. Hopefully it will be encouraging.

Amy: Thank you, and yes they did. I am grateful that they took the time to make sure i wouldnt hurt my baby. I know that pump and dump is sure not an attractive option at this point..lol..especially when im not making a whole lot now, (altho more than when i had mirena in place) since layla only BF's like 3-4 times a day. Its still important!!
Isra: Ah, I wouldnt like wearing a pad at all..period. (no pun intended there lol). I break out in rashes! It doesnt matter which brand. I switched to softcups when I had all that trouble post mirena..thinking maybe i was having issues with tampons. slight learning curve to them, but i think they are great otherwise. I do have a minor freak out with removing it but thats because i hate blood lol.
Moving sounds like a pain, but its a new adventure for you and your family and maybe will provide you with the "new start" for you "new addition "
I discarded two temps, one from where I had been awake and moving around for awhile and had forgotten to temp on waking, and one from when i lost a bunch of sleep due to my drunk neighbors using the steps as their party ground. I knew they werent accurate temps at that point. Yesterday was 98.4! It was off the chart! lol but i had a fever due to the UTI but marked it on my chart as well. Im not sure what i should be looking for on my chart to know if its good or not .

mo2ttc: BFP means big fat positive..just as BFN is big fat negative.
isra: Just realized you and I pretty much are expecting AF at the same time, If i go by my old standby cycle of 28 days, I'll be due on the 25th..
however after I O'd on CD11, FF changed my AF date to the 23rd, which would be awesome, because then AF would be gone for my first day of school for this semester and for my birthday according to the standby cycle of 28 days, starting on the 25th, means I get AF on DH's birthday.. so I just put the 23rd and 25th on mine, I'll put a range on your date as well.
