Re: September Board

Alexx- That must be so increadibly frustrating. I remember having a 3 month cycle not ever knowing when AF would arrive...it was hard. Ah, home those meds and tests will balance everything out so you can be sure when you start clomid. Sorry, to hear about your Mom. I have an Aunt undergoing cancer treatment right now. It's not an easy process. Hope things go really well for her.

Amy- If things slow down I will try to read your latest posts. Crazy life.

Re: September Board

Well, AF finally came. I don't want to get too excited because it's not super heavy yet, just kinda spotting but hopefully this leads to normal periods!

Re: September Board

Alexx- The period I ended up getting pregnant with Nathan after was super light and didn't last long. I did the clomid days 3-7. Are you planning on taking clomid this cycle? If you are make sure to get that called in so you take it at the right time. So sorry to hear about your mom, I will keep her in my prayers. *hugs*

Re: September Board

Tara: a day spent with family can always be draining. Having so much fun always wears me out.

Alexx: So sorry to hear about your mom! I will keep her in my prayers. I guess it's good AF came so you can get a cycle started to get that BFP!

Amy: I'm going to make that chicken tomorrow if I have everything for it. If not I will go pick it up and make it Sunday.

Afm: my dr appointment didn't go well. My dr didn't do anything for my back. She gave me flexoril and Tylenol 3 with codeine. But during the exam she had me lay down and she listened to my heart and scared the crap out of me. She said I had a very distinctive heart murmur. She said you usually hear a thump thump, with me you hear a thump whoosh. Now I have to see a cardiologist and I might be getting put on a high risk pregnancy along with facing a medical board evaluation. They don't allow members with a heart murmur in the military. I knew I had one when I was born but all of my dr's when I was growing up said it was gone. Not what I expected from my appointment but I guess it's a good thing to know what I'm facing so it doesn't blindside me later in the pregnancy.

Re: September Board

So should I have a dr appt. on Oct. 3. I guess this cycle I won't be on Clomid which I think is good because I really want to try and get my cycles regular for a couple months before so I can track them better.

Re: September Board

Tara- Life is crazy indeed. Hope you get a little relaxing in there somewhere (and if you do let me know how so I can try that out too!)

alexx- Had I waited to get my cycles regular I would probably never have started it and chances are good I wouldn't have my little man.

Alix- I hope you like it! I've had it for dinner yesterday, lunch today and maybe a midnight snack. It's like candy. So yummy.

AFM- I'm tired. I think I might be trying to do to much at once. I'm trying to get a job at Lionbridge, I've done it before but I'm not sure I REALLY want to do it again. Its an at home internet rating thing. Not really fun. We went to a preschool prep thing today with my moms group, Nathan did awesome and even helped me pick stuff up like a big boy.

Re: September Board

Brie- Nope, no water. It gets pretty liquidy as it cooks. The Soy sauce and honey and ketchup are all moist.

Re: September Board

Amy: Ok good, I had to go to a party earlier, so my chicken is a lil brownnnnnnn...lol. But it smells good and is falling apart! I am making rice and stir fry veggies to go with it.

I'll let you know.. DH is very very skeptical.. especially because there is a sign in my kitchen that says "I kiss better than I cook"...its there for a reason.. LOL. I can bake..but cooking..i never can get it right. I always have one disaster per meal.. it never fails..whether it be burning,  dropping, etc. It never ever fails. LOL

Re: September Board

Alix- It'll be good to follow up on the nurmer. A lot of them are benign. Maybe pregnancy brought it out so they could hear it better with the extra bloodflow. Hope that it works out in your favor whatever happens with the medical review board.

Alixx- Is there something specific you were going to follow up on on the 3rd?

Amy- The rating doesn't sounds all that fun. Glad you got to check out the preschool with your mom friends. What a big boy he is helping like that :smileyhappy:

Brie- Hope your chicken turns out. Cooking takes practice. Go for simple good recicpes. Sometimes you try some recipes and don't like them then others you find a keeper. I'd say get like a betty crocker or better homes and gardens cookbook. They have very traditional food and super easy recipes with good instructions. I think that is a good way to start learning.
